The trench coat is the best fashion invention and is a mixture of trendy & comfy. A classic trench coat is timeless and works in every season. It will never, ever go out of style.  A good trench coat lasts forever. It’s incredibly versatile and can be worn with skinny jeans and flats, dresses and heels or anything in between. It will pull together any look.

For a laid-back look I styled it with a very easy ensemble – a simple grey sweater, grey pants and Stan Smith trainers. The trench coat is definitely one of our wardrobe staples. And you can’t go wrong with the classic camel color!

Just few days ago it has been nice and warm and we still had bits of summer left. The best place to enjoy last days of summer is somewhere near by the sea. Brighton is a perfect place as it only takes 45 minutes to get there from London. There are so many things you can do. Brighton is full of small streets that you can take a walk on the nice warm evening and there is a wonderful atmosphere when the sun goes down and the lights come up on the Pier.

For my outfit I decided to combine polka dots and stripes together, and I have a really simple formula for making it work. The key is in the background color of each piece: you simply have to pair a light piece with a dark piece. So in today’s outfit, my skirt is mostly dark, and my top is mostly light. Stripes and dots go really well together as long as they have one common element (in this case the white dots and white stripes).
